Building on its track record as a specialist provider of construction services to the waste sector, Clugston have recently been awarded a contract to provide the civils and structures element of a new plant in Reading.

Working in a joint venture with design and process engineers, Earth Tech Engineering Ltd, Clugston will deliver the works in two phases in a 130-week contract.

Due to the difficulties of getting ADSL lines in from BT, Clugston evaluated all available options before choosing i-MO. Such has been the success, Clugston have now deployed i-MO at three other sites.

The i-MO solution is perfect in providing construction companies with an effective data communications capability on day one of any given project. This is critically important in situations where the installation of conventional ADSL or leased line connections is likely to be unacceptably slow, prohibitively expensive or quite simply impossible (e.g. remote and mobile locations).

According to John Everitt, Project Manager at Clugston:-

“i-MO enables us to be operational from day one, it allows us to work no differently from having a land-line. We use i-MO to access emails, drawings, Word, Excel files all on a thin client set up.”

Commenting on Clugston’s decision to purchase i-MO Andrew Lambert, Managing Director at EMS said:

"EMS are delighted to be associated with Clugston Construction. As an Award winning company and a company with strong planning and control techniques enhanced by a major investment in I.T. on sites, Clugston are already reaping the benefits of their forward thinking approach to solving datacoms”

Can you afford not to have data communications from day one?

How much does it cost you in lost productivity if you do not have datacoms available on site?

i-MO can provide you with instant secure datacoms from under £13.00 per day.

Typically this would represent less than 30 minutes lost productivity for a single employee who is unable to access email to progress queries and receive updated drawings.

The purpose built i-MO appliance can be pre-configured with a secure Virtual Private Network to provide instant secure data connectivity at your remote sites . The fully managed service includes a help desk and remote diagnostics to quickly resolve any networking issues. In the unlikely event of a hardware fault the service includes the supply of a preconfigured replacement appliance, shipped direct to your site. There is no need for you to send anyone out to fault find.

For more information on how we can provide a solution to your datacoms requirements throughout the life of your project, please call James Deadman on 01428 751655.
