EMS has staff trained and certified to competence level in key IBM & Microsoft e-Commerce technological skill sets. The Company is a Premier Business Partner of IBM/Lotus and a Certified Microsoft Partner.

EMS core skills also include C++, Java, Visual Basic, ASP / .NET, PHP, SQL Server, Websphere, DB2 etcetera. This makes the team ideally qualified to address customised changes and in particular to provide an innovative solution to back end and legacy system integration.

Mr Andrew Lambert
Managing Director – 18 years experience with a global electronics company prior to founding EMS. Latterly Technical Director responsible for the software development activities of that organisation.

Mr Lawrence Walker
Sales & Marketing Director – 15 years experience with a global electronics company – latterly responsible for a European Sales & Marketing team of approximately 30 people.

Mr Paul Williams
Senior Consultant – 8 years experience of managing the development and implementation activities for a range of e-Commerce related projects with EMS customers. Previous production management experience includes leading a team of up to 350 people.

Mr Jon Walters
Senior Project Manager – 20 years of technology related project management experience with organisations ranging from British Telecommunications plc and Freemans Catalogues Ltd to high tech startups.


The Principal of EMS, Andrew Lambert has over 20 years proven track record in complex systems integration and New Media. His foundations of success as a systems integrator came from Philips Electronics. He initially worked at Philips Research before moving into the commercial arena where he has held various positions including: Marketing Manager, Customer Services Manager and finally Technical Director in a software development activity.

His team, which has been built up over a number of years, include some 20 permanent staff and network of associates, each an expert in research, communication or innovation.

EMS is not a hardware supplier, but a system integrator. EMS looks to add value to a customer situation, through not simply the integration of advanced IBM/Lotus and other development tools and methodologies, but also through independent consultants who are positioned to provide Research, Innovation and Strategic counsel.
