London Data Centre – located at the heart of the UK’s Internet hub the EMS Data Centre provides an exceptionally secure and controlled environment for web hosting. Availability of electrical power is addressed at three levels: (a) multiple providers, (b) battery based UPS and (c) Diesel Generators. The site is protected against fire by means of a VESDA smoke detection system and FM200 Fire Master fire suppression system. Physical security is also a high priority with the premises being protected by round the clock patrols, perimeter alarms, comprehensive CCTV coverage, a proximity card access system (access logged and time stamped), a visual check on all persons entering the data floor and combination lock protected access to individual racks.
